	Hundreds of 3D models were generated and iterated, enhancing the understanding of form and proportion. Concurrently, 2D sketches were roughly produced to refined the thought process, learning, distilling, and improving the concept further.

Aluminium is a highly circular
material, meaning it can be recycled almost entirely. Powder coating adds a
protective layer to aluminium, shielding it from the elements while offering a
wide array of vibrant colour options.

Each table is held together using premium
quality thumb screws. Ensuring that tools are always left where they belong, in
the tool cupboard. Each thumbscrew can be coated to match the table colour, or
a standard nut and bolt can be used to lower the price point and access another
market segment.

Honest, unobtrusive design. 

	
Honest simplicity is at the essence of our system. Each table fraction is made from one sheet of aluminium, laser cut around one contour, bent along two lines, and repeated four times. Add and remove parts how you like. Clash colours. Combine funky shapes. Create functional forms. Providing more but with less.

Harmonising a product&#38;nbsp;portfolio by redesigning
a sheet metal covering, to a formed aesthetic covering for an agricultural merging
machine.


OXBO is currently undergoing a large
transformation in its product portfolio, shifting away from primarily utilising
sheet metal in design and assembly, to embracing formed plastic coverings. This
strategic pivot offers many advantages, notably providing greater creative breadth
in design and execution. Aiming to achieve a harmonious aesthetic across its
revamped product range, in line with the newly defined brand guidelines.Due to Non-Disclosure Agreements, all internal work cannot be shown.

An iterative, explorative start.

	
	Adhering to the product portfolio guidelines established by FLEX, sketch underlays were created to ensure the design proposals were technically feasible and accounted for all internal components and fixations.

(Initial designs were executed by Bart Van Drischee &#38;amp; Victor Dane).

Through iterative sketches, client meetings, and feedback. Sequential foam models were CNC milled to understand surfaces, lines, and form.

The final design features a progressive, aggressive form, subtly incorporating elements of the classic OXBO swoosh in its lines. Visualising this design in an environment that echoes a similar visual style helps to strengthen and convey the overall narrative.

	Christoph Behling Design were tasked with refining the catalogue and adding to the Geberit ONE range. Creating a product portfolio that is truly accessible, functional, and appealing to the consumer. Using modularity as a fundamental design principle. We were able to create a range of ceramics that could be interchanged between a range of modular furniture. Minimising unnecessary SKU’s, whilst increasing consumer choice, and catering for their space, budget, and aesthetic.

Refining an erratic ceramic portfolio.&#38;nbsp;

	
In 2019, Keramag and Geberit
collectively offered over 270 distinct ceramic and furniture collections. As
part of a strategic shift, the Keramag ceramics were phased out, and four new
ceramics and a range of modular furniture were designed and integrated into the revamped
Geberit ONE range.

However, the introduction of the new range has opened up opportunities in lower-tier markets, broadening Geberit's reach across various segments. Reworking a Defy Lab edition, into a detail orientated, skeleton dial with varying colours and finishes.&#38;nbsp;
	

Previously
Christoph Behling Design created a small run of 10 high-end, high detailed,
44mm Defy Lab. Being extremely well received by the watch-making industry.
Zenith wanted to add an entry-level model to the Defy range in the form of the
Defy Classic, taking design notes from the Defy Lab for the skeleton dial.
Ensuring the price point is lower, the production is higher, and the aesthetic
is more accessible for that market point.

A cost effective, usability driven, housing solution for a sports analytics tracking company.
	

	JOHAN came to FLEX/design to redesign the current housing solution they were using for their sports tracking devices.&#38;nbsp;The new packaging solution was designed for batch manufacture, utilising the benefits of vacuum forming whilst reducing overall cost. Using off-the-shelf components where necessary and a premanufactured suitcase. A clever two-part replaceable USB port ensures an economical and sustainable design was delivered.Due to Non-Disclosure Agreements, all internal work cannot be shown.

the angle at which each tracker docks influence the
number of trackers that can fit in a suitcase and their usability. Conducting

	Given the constraints of low manufacturing numbers and budget, vacuum forming emerged as the most suitable manufacturing method. The design was iteratively developed alongside testing to optimise for the FOT.

	The final design incorporates a two-part manufacturing process, enabling easy replacement of USBs if they break. This approach prevents the entire packaging from becoming redundant, an improvement on the previous execution.

	Luke O’Neill is a British Designer, living in Rotterdam for the last three and a half years. Falling in love
with The Netherlands and the art and design culture after an internship in 2016. Graduating Industrial Design BSc, in 2017 from Brunel University, a renowned name in design education. &#38;nbsp;Landing his first job at&#38;nbsp;Christoph Behling Design, an industrial design firm in London. Creating products that had clean lines, simple forms, but possessed a
feeling of modern, high-end design that was still accessible to the mass. Working with global clients like Geberit, Tag Heuer, and Zenith. Moving to&#38;nbsp;FLEX/design for the next five years. Specialising in advancing sustainability within agriculture, horticulture, and food sectors. With the mission to lead the global transition towards a greener future by employing systemic design strategies to shape products, services, and behaviours for impactful change across the entire food supply chain, from farm to fork. Founding a furniture design studio &#124; store based in Rotterdam. NINETY utilises singular manufacture processes to create sustainable, locally sourced, adaptive furniture. &#38;nbsp;

	Utilising Geberit’s behind the wall technology, creating more cleanliness, more space, and more flexibility.&#38;nbsp;
	

The Geberit ONE washbasin was designed to utilise Geberit’s behind-the-wall technology. Moving unnecessary, bulky features behind the wall. Creating a cleaner, more refined design, that provides more space for the consumer with fewer areas where dirt can be collected. An honest design that makes the consumer's life easier.

Catering for the consumers varying aesthetics, space, and needs; two ceramic models were designed. A free-floating ceramic and a ceramic with an integrated cabinet. Both of which are available in four different sizes.

With an overall depth of 400mm, the Geberit ONE range is approximately 80mm smaller than most standard washbasins. This may not sound like a lot; however, this can be the difference between a functioning door, a more spacious feeling, and a less visually impactful product.

Geberit’s ethos is based on utilising the space behind the wall. Using their wall hung technology to hide unwanted, unattractive features.

numerous washbasins was an integral initial stage of the design process to
provide ourselves with constraints.

Standing faucet eats space and is an eye sore.Corners create hard to reach, unhygienic areas.  
Ugly large overflow. Chunky ceramic thickness.Hair clogging drainage system - hard to remove. Unattractive, space invading syphon.
